The annual community-wide Men’s Lenten Breakfast Series will begin Friday, March 3, 2017. This year the event will move to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 500 E 7th Street in Auburn, Indiana due to construction that will take place at Auburn First United Methodist Church, the events’ traditional location. Over 200 men and youth representing more than 40 Christian churches traditionally attend the series.
Each Friday a full hot breakfast is served and a freewill offering is collected. Meatless dishes will be available. The event is open to all men and boys.
The breakfast series continues for seven weeks at 6:30 a.m. each Friday through Good Friday and features breakfast, music and a message from area clergy. It dismisses promptly at 7:30 a.m.
